Created to protect homeowners from unlicensed builder, unethical work practices and shoddy workmanship, each member of the NZ Certified Builders Association must have a strong history of stability and success.
Working with an NZCB member means that all work is backed by NZ’s most comprehensive building guarantee – Halo 10 year residential guarantee insurance.
Peace of Mind Guaranteed
All residential builds carried out by DuraBuild Construction are protected by Halo - New Zealand most comprehensive 10 year residential guarantee. Halo is only available to people who build or renovate with an NZCB approved builder.
In the unlikely event something happens to your builder or NZCB itself during your building project, you won’t be out of pocket. Plus, if you sell your property within 10 years, the guarantee automatically passes over to the new owner.
Loss of deposit, additional costs to complete the dwelling, structural defects for 10 years including weather tightness, non-structural defects for ten years and alternative accommodation requirements are all covered under Halo. Find out more about the Halo here
